Bon dance festivals in Hawaii are traditional Buddhist celebrations to honor our ancestors. All are welcome to join the dancing to Japanese and Okinawan music accompanied by Taiko drummers around a Yagura. At Lihue Hongwanji, the Food Booth and Country Store open at 6PM and the dancing begins at 7:30PM.
