Shipwrecks

Beach & Reef Break
South Swell
Summer Best
Intermediate+

Shipwrecks is an exposed beach and reef break on Kauaʻi’s south shore that picks up swell frequently and holds size well. It works best during the summer on south to south-southeast groundswells, with offshore winds typically blowing from the north.

The wave is surfable across all tide stages, though conditions can shift quickly depending on swell angle and size. Rocks, shallow sections, and a strong local presence require awareness and respect.
