Kalapaki Beach is a reliable reef break near Līhuʻe that works on a wide range of swells, with summer offering the most consistent conditions. It picks up both local windswells and longer-period groundswells, with the best direction coming from the south to southeast and offshore winds typically blowing from the northwest.

The reef provides both left and right options, making it versatile — but easy access means it’s often busy. Watch for shallow rocks in the lineup, especially at low tide.
