Program Description: Understory Alliance’s workshops provide immersive, hands-on learning experiences that inspire and educate participants on the intricate relationship between people and the environment. Covering a wide range of topics from biocultural conservation and traditional ecological knowledge to plant propagation and traditional practices, our orkshops are designed to meet diverse interests. Participants engage in practical activities such as building compost systems, creating wildlife habitats, and learning from community wisdom, fostering a tangible connection to the environment.
