ʻIke Māla Summer Program

Organization:  National Tropical Botanical Garden

Program Description:  ʻIke Māla utilizes our garden resources and location to reinforce strong biocultural influences of traditional wisdom in aloha ʻāina, mālama ʻāina, and kūleana. How do plants, people and place connect with one another? We explore this question by providing a wide range of outdoor activities which take place in NTBG’s McBryde Garden in Lāwaʻi Valley.

Working in collaboration with Cognition Learning Center of Kaua’i Community College, these camps include nature activities, environmental games, and garden exploration.
