DESCRIPTION:Kaua’i Quilt Show 2025 is celebrating 20 Years of Creativity.  The annual Quilt Show will be held February 7 thru 19 from 10am to 5pm daily.  FREE ADMISSION.  Find us at the KSA Gallery in the Kukui Grove Center\, Lihue (In the center of the mall behind Longs Drugs and the Keiki Play area). \nThere will be a “Meet the Quilters Reception” on Friday Feb.7 from 5pm to 7pm.  Light refreshments will be served and all are welcome to come meet the quilters who make the beautiful quilts and give their time to sit the show each day. \nThere will be over 70 quilts on display\, many for sale.  As well\, there will be designated donation quilts….all made and donated by our very own quilters to be sold with 100% of the proceeds to go to a Kaua’i non-profit organization of the buyer’s choice. \nVisit our Boutique in a separate pop up shop.  All items will be hand made and donated by many loving hands.  Proceeds to go to Kaua’i non profit organizations . \nCheck out the ongoing workshops/classes during the show \nVote for ” Viewer’s Choice Award 2025″ \n  \n  \n  \n

She founded the Kauaʻi Albatross Network and dedicates her time to the preservation\, protection and celebration of our beloved mōlī\, or Laysan albatross\, along with the other endangered wildlife of Kauaʻi. Hob is an award-winning author\, photographer\, birding guide\, Safina Center Fellow\, guest lecturer and more. In this presentation\, you’ll enjoy her amazing photos and delightful stories and learn how you can help protect this important iconic species. \nThe North Shore of Kauaʻi is the only place in the world where this majestic species nests within a human community. This\, and the challenges they face due to climate change\, make it our kuleana to help protect these birds\, which nested here long before human contact. Be a proud Kauaʻian and learn how you can help protect our mōlī and other endangered wildlife. \nFree Lecture Series: Tuesday\, February 11\, 2025 5:00 to 6:30pm in the Princeville Community Center. Designed for the general public\, this free session aims to empower individuals to minimize their risk for falls as well\, learn fall recovery techniques\, and discover local available resources.
