DESCRIPTION:Come celebrate the rich diversity of Kauai’s creative community at the Southside Music and Arts Festival! This event is a part of Koloa Plantation Days\, running July 19-28th 2024. On Saturday\, July 20th live music performances and local vendors will be spread across Kōloa Town. You’ll find 50+ artisan vendors\, locally owned shops\, four live music performances\, food trucks\, and full service restaurants. Vendors and live music will be featured from 5 to 9pm throughout Kōloa Town\, from Kōloa Village to Waikomo Courtyard. \n\nThe fun kicks off at 5pm in the Waikomo Courtyard in Old Kōloa Town. Enjoy live covers of your favorite songs by Bonnie Vannoy while you sip on a craft beer\, latte\, or shave ice. Shop from handmade pottery\, art\, and jewelry\, or relax in the shade of the Monkeypod tree.\n\nAt 6pm musician Dondi returns home from Nashville to perform her original music at Kōloa Village. Stroll under the twinkling lights while you shop from vendors and boutiques\, or sit down for a full service meal at one of the many bars and restaurants.\n\nAt 7 pm live music kicks off on the Big Grass Lawn\, with performances by P-Town and then Desperado Orchestra. Let the keiki run around while you grab dinner from one of Kauai’s best food trucks\, connect with local vendors selling handmade goods\, or dance the rest of the night away to the live music.\n\nThis is a free and family friendly event with proceeds benefitting the Kauai YWCA.  Mahalo to our sponsor\, Old Kōloa Town\, for making this possible!

DESCRIPTION:Wednesday\, July 24\, 3:30 – 6 p.m. \nKoloa Plantation Days festivities continue at The Shops at Kukui‘ula during the weekly Kaua‘i Culinary Market from 3:30pm to 6pm\, featuring plantation foods and dishes from diverse cultures that were brought to Kaua‘i during the sugar plantation days and continue to be enjoyed by residents and visitors today. At 5pm at the Palm Court\, join us for a special chef demonstration by Leong’s Market and Grill\, which will illustrate the different flavors and cultural influences on local foods. \nThe Kaua‘i Culinary Market is a partnership between The Shops at Kukui‘ula and the Kaua‘i County Farm Bureau and is held at The Shops at Kukui‘ula every Wednesday from 3:30pm to 6pm with a special chef demonstration featuring locally grown products at 5pm. This one-of-a-kind farmers market boasts over 25 participating local farmers\, artisanal product producers and vendors offering fresh vegetables\, fruits and other unique delicacies and is enhanced by live Hawaiian music from local artists and a wine and beer garden at the Palm Court.
