Lihue Hongwanji Buddhist Temple Across from Kapaia StitcheryBon dance festivals in Hawaii are traditional Buddhist celebrations to honor our ancestors. All are welcome to join the dancing to Japanese and Okinawan music accompanied by Taiko drummers around a Yagura. At Lihue Hongwanji, the Food Booth and Country Store open at 6PM and the dancing begins at 7:30PM.
