The Kaua‘i Culinary Market is a partnership between The Shops at Kukui‘ula and the Kaua‘i County Farm Bureau and is held at The Shops at Kukui‘ula every Wednesday from 3:30pm to 6pm with a special chef demonstration featuring locally grown products at 5pm. This one-of-a-kind farmers market boasts over 25 participating local farmers\, artisanal product producers and vendors offering fresh vegetables\, fruits and other unique delicacies and is enhanced by live Hawaiian music from local artists and a wine and beer garden at the Palm Court.

Grove Farm will share historical information regarding Kōloa Mill and Allan Smith who served in various leadership positions in the sugar industry and retired as a Senior Vice President for Grove Farm Co. and Jan TenBruggencate who grew up on a pineapple plantation on Molokaʻi and is the author of the books “Lihue Mill: Grinding Cane and Building Community” and “Grove Farm: 150 Years of Stewardship and Innovation\,” will be on hand to “talk story” about plantation life. The tour will encompass a visit to view the exterior of the Kōloa Mill and will include a ride to Waita Reservoir and the Wilcox Tunnel. Reservations required as shuttle seating is limited.

DESCRIPTION:The Kōloa Plantation Days Historic Parade through Kōloa Town and the Park Celebration are here!! \nBring the family for the Historic Parade where it all started at its new time of 3 pm through Kōloa Town and ending up at the Anne Knudsen Park. See Kauaʻi’s floats\, horses\, walking units\, classic cars\, and community groups. \nThe Park Celebration opens at 2 pm. Get your wristband for pre-parade shopping. The Park Celebration continues to 8 pm with this year’s headliner Lopaka Colon’s Sophisticated Savages\, along with Tsunami Taiko Drummers\, Nā Makuakāne\, and ʻŌiwi.
