With a degree in journalism from The University of Georgia and a degree in Culinary Arts from The French Culinary Institute\, she has developed editorial and advertising content for more than 45 publications. For years\, she was the culinary producer for Delicious Miss Brown on The Food Network and has also worked for multiple brands including Southern Living\, Coastal Living\, Cooking Light\, Health\, Lodge Cast-Iron\, Dove Chocolate\, Wonder Bread\, and Le Creuset to name a few. Her third cookbook\, The Duke’s Mayonnaise Cookbook was published in June 2020. \nAshley is based in Charleston\, South Carolina\, and frequently works in Savannah\, Georgia\, and South Florida. There will be an opportunity for guests to purchase recommended tools before class. They will be ready to take and practice at home. \nMalina Lee was born and raised on Kauai’s North Shore. Her family still owns and operates a robust tropical flower farm there! In 2017\, she moved to Texas as an elementary school teacher. After four years\, she left teaching to pursue her passion\, baking\, as her full-time career. Malina officially opened Sweet Grace in 2020 specializing in weddings\, parties\, and corporate events. She missed teaching so much that she began offering baking classes at her local cake store. Malina currently divides her time between Kaua’i and Texas. When on the island\, Malina creates personalized wedding cakes for friends and family\, delivering them across the island.
