DESCRIPTION:Mark your calendar for the 11th Kauaʻi Chocolate & Coffee Festival a celebration of all things chocolate and coffee with lots of sampling\, educational displays and workshops\, entertainment and exhibitor booths featuring a variety of chocolate and coffee products\, from around the state. The Kauaʻi Chocolate & Coffee Festival happens on Sunday\, October 18\, 2026 at Kilohana Plantation in the Luau Pavilion highlighting all the attributes of these two favorite local crops. \nThe festival takes place in Lihue Kauaʻi and includes\, informative presentations\, live entertainment\, a silent auction\, sampling and much more. DESCRIPTION:Celebrate Downtown Līhuʻe\nAnnual block party celebrating the heart of Kauaʻi.\nSupported by Levitt Family Foundation\, Hawaii Tourism Authority Community Enrichment Program.\n3 live stages\, over 100 local vendors\, keiki play area\, and more! \nLĪHU‘E – The public is invited to attend the Rice Street Block Party\, a family-focused event\, from 4 to 8 p.m. on Saturday\, Oct. 24. \nTo accommodate the block party\, Rice Street (between Umi Street and Kalena Street) will be closed from 2 to 10 p.m.\, on Oct. 24. Kress Street will also be closed (between Rice Street and Halenani Street). Umi\, Hardy\, and Kalena streets will remain open during the event. \nThe block party will feature various entertainment along Rice Street\, including a keiki zone with a dedicated area for Play Streets Kaua‘i\, live music\, local vendors and more. There will also be a kickball tournament at Līhu‘e County Park as a fundraiser for the KCC Veterans Services center. For more information on the tournament\, contact the Makaiwa Gunn at brothersinarms808@outlook.com. \nDue to the number of concurrent events throughout the day\, parking has been secured at the Wilcox Elementary School Parking Lot\, the Līhu‘e Civic Center\, and lastly at the Kaua‘i War Memorial Convention Hall. \nDuring the road closure\, Route 70 Līhu‘e Shuttle will not service stops along Rice Street\, and riders are directed to utilize the bus stops on Eiwa Street. \nFor more information on the Rice Street Block Party\, visit www.ricestreetblockparty.com. \nIf you need an auxiliary aid/service or other accommodation due to a disability\, contact the Planning Department at 808-241-4050 as soon as possible.
