Grove Farm will share historical information regarding Kōloa Mill and Allan Smith who served in various leadership positions in the sugar industry and retired as a Senior Vice President for Grove Farm Co. and Jan TenBruggencate who grew up on a pineapple plantation on Molokaʻi and is the author of the books “Lihue Mill: Grinding Cane and Building Community” and “Grove Farm: 150 Years of Stewardship and Innovation,” will be on hand to “talk story” about plantation life. The tour will encompass a visit to view the exterior of the Kōloa Mill and will include a ride to Waita Reservoir and the Wilcox Tunnel. Reservations required as shuttle seating is limited.
